We are pleased to announce that the first version of an INFORM sourcebook in Farsi is now available via this site, thanks to the wonderful work of our colleague Maryam Shirvanifar, who has both translated original INFORM text and added information about resources available in Iran. We are extremely grateful to her for this valuable contribution.

INFORM sourcebooks function as both pathfinders and gateways. Each book contains detailed descriptions of online resources that are relevant to a particular topic (such as reproductive health) and are available in a particular country or region. In addition, the digital file of each book contains embedded links to these resources, so that end-users can reach the relevant sites just by clicking.

Examples of the sourcebooks are shown below. To keep a copy of a sourcebook, click on the pdf and, when the pdf document has loaded, save a copy to your computer or a storage medium such as a CD. End-users who have trouble downloading a particular sourcebook should contact INFORM.

These sourcebooks are listed without an associated pdf because they are over a year old and thus outdated. However, new sourcebooks are constantly being produced, and all will be made available online as soon as they are available. Persons translating INFORM materials are urged to contact us so that we can post the translated versions online.

Note that all of the sourcebooks are about information resources. The short titles given below indicate the topical focus. For example, a sourcebook entitled International Health is not a book about international health, but one about information resources on that subject.
