
These sourcebooks provide guidance about accessing free information resources on different health subjects, and are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 Unported License.
All sourcebooks marked with a
symbol can be downloaded free of charge. Sourcebooks without the symbol are outdated and no longer available.
The following new and updated sourcebooks will also be available in 2010: Information Resources for Health Professionals in Pakistan; Information Resources for Health Professionals in Vietnam (English and Vietnamese versions); Information Resources for Child Survival, African edition; Information Resources for Medicine and Health, generic global edition.
The sourcebooks function as both pathfinders and gateways. Each book contains detailed descriptions of online resources that are relevant to a particular topic (such as reproductive health) and are available in a particular country or region. In addition, the digital file of each book contains embedded links to these resources, so that end-users can reach the relevant sites just by clicking.
